What is kroc rows?

Kroc rows are a variation of dumbbell rows, popularized by powerlifter Matt Kroc. This exercise is performed with a heavier weight than traditional dumbbell rows, and a high number of reps are done. The aim of Kroc rows is to build upper back and lat strength, as well as grip strength.

To perform Kroc rows, start in a bent-over position with one hand and knee resting on a bench, and the other foot on the ground. Hold a dumbbell in the opposite hand and row it towards your ribcage. Do as many reps as possible, with the aim being to reach failure or close to it.

It is recommended to use a weight that is about 50% heavier than what you would normally use for dumbbell rows, and to start with a lower number of reps and gradually increase over time. As with any exercise, proper form is important to prevent injury and maximize results.
